C. U. Shah Medical College is now nearly 18 years old, offering established undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college began in 2000 and was recognized by MCI for undergraduate programs in 2005. Since then, it has made significant progress. Postgraduate courses are available in nearly all subjects, with more planned for the near future.
The campus, known as ‘C.U. SHAH AROGYADHAM,’ is quickly becoming an educational hub with undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Physiotherapy, a Bachelor course in Audiology & Speech Language Pathology, and the proposed C.U. Shah Nursing College, among others.
All credit for this massive philanthropic effort goes to the late Sri C. U. Shah Sahib, whose financial and other contributions in developing many institutions across India are well recognized. He passed away in January 2013, but his spiritual presence continues to guide us.
The new Multistory Hospital Complex, which includes Cardiology & Cardiothoracic Surgery departments and offers facilities such as a Cathlab, ICCU, and surgical services, is a significant achievement. It was inaugurated during the birth centenary year of the Founder Shri C. U. Shah on 13-5-2018 by the Honorable Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.
I am confident that with the dedicated efforts of the management and administrative team, this institution will reach new levels of achievement and become a leading figure in education and healthcare.
