Mata Gujri Memorial Medical College & Lion’s Seva Kendra Hospital in Kishanganj was sponsored and set up by a Trust from the Sikh religious minority community under Article 30(1) of the Indian Constitution
This was done to provide effective medical services to the entire North-East Region, which is an underdeveloped area that is educationally, socially, and economically disadvantaged.
